About Sara

Sara is a light-hearted therapist whose goal is to connect with you on a real level, to hear your stories, and provide you with the utmost compassion and care. Your mental health is unique, and your care needs to be specific to you. Sara's approach is collaborative and rooted in evidence-based practices that honor each person’s unique story.  

Sara is passionate about helping those struggling with mental health and addictions and has been working in the field for the past eight years. Sara's experience has led her to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including inpatient and outpatient addiction, as well as crisis intervention. Through this experience, Sara has come to deeply value each client and their stories, holding them in the strongest regard.

Sara is in her last year of the Master of Counselling Psychology program through the University of Lethbridge. Sara also holds a graduate certificate in the clinical studies of addiction. 

When Sara is not in the office, she can be found reading, cooking, spending time with her family and friends, walking the trails of Fort McMurray, or taking her son to extracurricular activities.
