About Elyse

I believe in supporting individuals from all walks of life, and my practise caters to teens and adults of all identities. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem challenges, life changes, relationship challenges, and general mental health concerns. When caring for my clients, I believe in providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where individuals can feel seen and understood without judgement. I utilize a client-centred approach and evidence-based practises to help clients explore their experiences, challenges, and emotions in order to heal, flourish, and build the life that they want.

I have a wide array of education, including degrees in Anthropology from Saint Mary’s University and Psychology from Trent University, and I am interning through the Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville. My array of education allows me to cater my practise to the specific identity and needs of each client. In my downtime, I am an avid reader, hiker, and baker, and enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.
